Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began to train in the sports of combat. She was trained in boxing, kickboxing BJJ and wrestling before completing her debut as an amateur at the age of 18 at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd then went on to take down three opponents in a row at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of the opponents she defeated had been defeated in the first five minutes. In WCFC, Ladd defeated Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous decision. Aspen was first beaten by Silvia Babyghian prior to going to fight Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9 in which she took on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen with a majority vote. It left a blemish on her record as an amateur. Ladd bounced back from the defeat, and won Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to increase her record up to 8-1. Aspen made her professional debut in 2015, and was signed by Invicta FC to make her professional debut. At InvictaFC 11, she had her very first professional bout. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal, securing the 1st-round TKO. Invicta Fc 16 was her debut fight as a bantamweight. She defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar during the second round. Aspen used the superior techniques she learned from wrestling to beat McGill. She won her bout via an KO (3rd round) (elbows, punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, weighing the catchweight (138.1lb) As Ladd did not have enough weight. However, Aspen was able to take on Hoy. She finished her via TKO in the second-round. Invicta FC21 was her last match in the organization. The winner was Sijara Ebanks by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She dominated Lina with a ground-and-- - pounded her for a TKO win in the second round. Ladd continued to dominate and scored an even stunning victory in her next match against Tonya Evinger, who was fighting at UFC 229. Ladd was able to defeat Evinger in the very first round and received a bonus for her performance during the night. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee She fought Sijara Eubanks in her debut fight. The two fighters put on an intense battle that concluded with Ladd taking a unanimous win and both fighters receiving the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd's winning streak with just 16 seconds. She bounced back and finished Yana Kunitskaya during the third round of UFC in ESPN 7. In a match that was a replacement for UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. The fight ended in an majority decision.
