Alisyn Camerota

Alisyn Camerota, journalist, writer, anchor for CNN's morning show "New Day," and Westport, CT resident, has been elected to the board of trustees for Westport Country Playhouse. The three decades she has spent in journalism have led to her covering many stories in the United States and overseas. In addition, she has won her the Edward R. Murrow Award and the Emmy Award. The board also has' transitions Johnna G. Torsone of Stamford was named an Honorary Trustee after having served as a trustee since 2007 Anna Czekaj-Farber from Westport was elected as the chair after having been as a board member since 2013. Czekaj Farber succeeds Barbara Streicker of Westport, who served as the board's chair until October 15, 2015, and continues to serve on the board since 2006.
